We replaced an Intertherm 10 S.E.E.R. 3 ton split heat pump system with a Frigidaire 3.5 ton gas electric package system (gas pack) in Lowrys, S.C.

We visited this customer's home to perform a fall service (regular maintenance) and found several cracks in the heat exchanger which could allow carbon monoxide to enter the home. The existing equipment was 14 years old, so we found it to be much more cost effective to replace the gas pack. We removed an old 10 S.E.E.R. Goodman gas pack with a cracked heat exchanger and replaced it with a new 13 S.E.E.R. Gibson gas pack. The total cost of this job was $3,192.00. Gibson heating and cooling products carry a 10 year parts warranty.
